Design Studio III @ NJIT

The objective for this project was to design an Early Childhood Education Center in downtown Newark, New Jersey. The site presented some challenges where students had to negotiate the programs to create classroom, activity areas and open spaces for the various age groups. This project started by looking at modular systems as a kit of parts that could be assembled and interconnected through glass tunnels.
